Boys Back To Oklahoma

 We got up this morning (at least those of us who actually went to bed last night), got packed up, and hit the road. We sadly had to take the boys back home to Oklahoma.

 Once we got to the country back roads, Spencer & Mason & I hopped in the back of the truck for the 15 minute ride to GrannyMom & Grampsy's. It was AWESOME to sit in the back and feel the wind in my face.

 Oklahoma really is beautiful w/ the light green fields, dark green trees, blue skies, and puffy white clouds. So peaceful & serene!

 Definitely not something you could get away with doing on the main roads in Texas! Just one more reason why we love Oklahoma!

 We got to the house, unpacked the food we brought, ate lunch, and then went outside to sit in the shade and relax. Frank took it upon himself to mow the entire front & back yard. He said he's been doing that since he was 14 and that it's therapeutic to him. 

 I LOVE this Mimosa tree w/ it's pink & yellow firework looking blossoms. We basically spent the rest of the day visiting, napping, and I even had time to review my lesson for tomorrow. It's so nice to come to Oklahoma where the pace is slower and more relaxed. It's nice to have that balance.

We dropped the boys off, b/c they are spending the next few weeks w/ their Mom. Then the rest of use went and saw WONDER WOMAN! It was a really great movie and we all enjoyed it. We got home around 10:30 & Frank decided on the spur of the moment that he wanted to drive home to TX instead of spending the night like we had planned. So, Frank & Autumn & I hopped in the truck and drove home. Autumn laid down across the back set and fell asleep. Frank & I talked the whole way home, which was really great.

We have such wonderful discussions from gospel topics, to life experiences, to funny stories or jokes. We finally got home at 2:30 am and all went right to sleep.
