At church on Sunday Autumn grabbed me & Shannon and said that we had to set up a time to get together. I'm glad she did that, b/c so often we say to friends that we'll get together, but then we never do. We decided that having Family Home Evening together & swimming would be best. So, we met over at Mom & Dad's house after dinner. We provided the dessert (cheesecake w/ homemade caramel sauce) & we had a short lesson about America since tomorrow is the 4th of July.
We had so much fun swimming & talking & catching up. They were out of town on vacation and we missed them. It was fun to hear about all of their fun adventures. I keep saying that I want to be like them when I grow up b/c they are such spiritual giants. It was fun to look over & see Frank and Jake involved in a deep & meaningful conversation. Jake has been so great to make Frank feel so welcomed.
