Double Date with Lexie and Jon

Ok, so Lexie and I came up with a fun plan to do something together. So we planned to go to Antelope Island since neither of us have ever been there before. However, after some planning we realized it was too far away. So, Jason came up with the idea to go to Brighton.

So, we drove up to Brighton and wanted to walk around the lake. However, as you can see, there was snow everywhere. But we had fun none the less. It was fun to just get out and go somewhere I'd never been before.

After that, we drove back down and decided to go to Temple Square to walk around. It was a nice day, and we ran into this cute little older missionary. He told us he could get us tickets to the Joseph Smith movie if we gave him a referral. So we all did and got tickets. It didn't start for a while, so we went outside and took some pictures. This was a fun picture to take, and I wonder if I'll marry Jason. He's a great guy and we'll just have to wait and see how things go.

The Joseph Smith movie was really good and made me cry. I tend to forget all the hardships the early Saints went through to give us the gospel today. I need to be more grateful for all they did to make my life so easy today. I don't know if I could have handled all the persecution and horrible things that happened and still been faithful. But I'm sure I'll have my own personal challenges that will test and try my faith. I just hope I'm up to the challenge and can do as well as the early Saints did.

All in all, this was a wonderful day. It was fun to spend time with Lexie and Jon, and I'm glad they got to spend time with Jason and get to know him a little better. I really do like him a lot and want them to like him too.
