New things…Autumn has a new church dress for her birthday, and I have a new (temporary) hair style. This has been a fun week and Autumn is growing up so much. She’s starting to notice a lot more things, she’s starting to mimic what I do and say, and her personality starts showing through more and more. I love being her mom and getting to watch her change and progress.

One of Autumn’s favorite things to do every night when we get home is that she puts her babies face down on the floor and covers them up w/ blankets so they don’t get cold.  Tonight I laid down on the floor and she started covering me up like one of her babies.  But then she decided it would be more fun to sit on my back.  She’s such a cutie!

This picture was taken on Autumn’s birthday. We went upstairs to see Mom in her sewing room and Autumn found these scraps of fabric and we put them on our heads. I think I look like Yentel and she looks like Mary. LOL!

I like to try and get pictures of us together on Sunday when we’re both dressed up nice. This is a new dress she got for her birthday. I love it and think it’s so cute. Nick said it reminds him of Twister (the game).

I also love this picture of me giving her kisses. She knows she’s cute, but I just can’t help indulging her and telling her what a little princess she is.

Today while we were at the mall I saw a photo booth and decided that we just HAD to get a picture. First, b/c photo booths always remind me of Tara. And second, b/c I knew this would be a fun picture for our 52 pics a year. So, this is our 2/52 picture.

I also had to add this one from this week. Autumn wanted me to hold her, but she is getting so big and I can't carry her all night. So, I had her sit on my foot and walked around w/ her on my leg. She is too funny.

My friend from high school, Jen, posted an idea on her blog that I am going to copy.  She is going to post at least one picture of her and her 3 girls every week.  That way she can compile them at the end of the year to see how they have changed over the course of the year.  I thought that sounded like fun, so I’m going to try it.  My pictures are not going to be as cute and professional looking as hers, but I’ll still try to post one pic of me and Autumn every week.  That’s part of the CHANGE I want to make this year…I want to have more pictures of her and I together.  I usually don’t take pics w/ her b/c I think I’m too fat or my hair doesn’t look good that day or whatever.  But, I’m going to get over that and just post a pic every week, b/c I need to realize I am what I am and I can’t keep wasting my life waiting for the “when’s”…as in when I’m skinny, I’ll take pictures.  Or when I’ve got my hair fixed, I’ll take pictures, etc.

Here’s our 1/52 post pics.  Autumn discovered a huge jar of Jelly Belly’s in the pantry and so that is her new favorite treat.  No one was home to take our pic and the timer wasn’t working, so we just went in the bathroom and took these pics in the mirror.  She kept sticking out her tongue to show off her Jelly Belly’s in her mouth, so I decided we would go w/ it even though they’re not the greatest pics.
