What a fun morning! Jason and I woke up around 8:00 and got ready for the day. I actually got up around 7:30 b/c Baby Autumn was fussing for my attention. I sure do love that little girl. It was so fun to play with her for a little bit. Anyways, we got ready and headed out to Jefferson Jr. High School, where Jason is doing his school counselor internship.
We waited for Mr. Moody, the principal, to sign a letter of recommendation for the University of Northern Colorado. Jason is applying to get a Masters degree on line there for a school administration degree to be a principal. Anyways, it cracks me up, b/c on the leter of recommendation is asks if you waive your rights to know what the letter said or not. The reason that cracks me up, is b/c Jason and I wrote that letter and Mr. Moody just glanced over it and signed it. LOL!
Anyways, then we stopped in to the counseling office, which is just across the hall to show off Baby Autumn. Everyone just oohs and ahhs about how cute she is. And I must admit that it makes me so happy and proud when they fuss over her and say how pretty she is. I mean, I for sure think she is, but it's nice to hear other people say it too. Tee hee hee.
After we got the letter signed, Jason drove by this little neighborhood and showed me a house he said he pictures us having someday. Not the exact house, but something cute and small to start out in. I don't know why, but that made me super happy that he's thinking about our future and our house. What a cutie.
Then we went to IHOP for breakfast. It was so nice to just sit and talk to him and share some nice breakfast food together. He got the breakfast plate and I got appetizers and we just shared. Then on the way home he was telling me about his younger years. He was telling me about how he used to beat kids up and how he would get beat up. Just normal kid stuff, but I lived such a sheltered and princess type existence I never got beat up (thank goodness). So it was just fun and interesting for me to hear about that part of his life and how different our upbringings were, but that we're together and happily married.
