Saturday...what a day

Jason and I thought we were having the 3 babies this weekend, but we didn't. So, we took advantage of the time alone and enjoyed the weekend.

We went got up, got cleaned up, and went to Grove's Market for their huge and yummy sandwiches.

Here's the man that I love chowing down on his sandwich.

Here's me and our little Yoda baby. I was trying to keep her protected from the sun.

OK, this is kind of a random picture, but it's so funny. You'll probably have to click on it to make it bigger to see what is going on. I was trying to be sneaky and take a picture of these people at the table next to us. It was a little old grandma and grandpa having lunch with their grandson, but what was so funny is that they had a 6 pack of beer that they were drinking. I was wondering if they were going to drive home or make their grandson drive them home? It was just funny to me to see old people drinking beer.

After lunch, we went and got Jason a hair cut. He needed one BADLY. Then we went to Sugar House park to enjoy the nice weather. While there, I had to use the restroom in an emergency type of way, so I ran across the street to Arby's to use the restroom and got us a drink.

After that, we decided it was time to go shopping for a few things. We didn't want to carry Baby Autumn, so we put her in this cart. I was laughing so hard, b/c I'm sure that thing is COVERED in germs and bacteria. Not to mention the ghetto little straps to keep her from slipping out. I don't know why, but it just cracked me up.

Then we finally headed towards home after stopping at Blockbuster to get a movie. We rented Curse of the Golden Flower. I thought it was going to be one of those kung fu movies, but it actually ended up being REALLY good, with a great story line. And the costumes and sets and colors were elegant and gorgeous.

After that, Stephan (Jason's brother Steven, who I like to call Stephan) called and needed a ride home. So we went and picked him up near the SLC library and took him home. We got his playstation in exchange for some money we had lent him and Shanti a while ago. That way the kids will have another form of entertainment to keep them busy when they come to visit. But we'll have to watch that close and put a timer on it so they don't get too carried away.

After that, we stopped and got some Little Ceasar's pizza for dinner and went home and just chilled and watched TV. All in all, it was a busy but fun day just spending time together as our small little family of 3.
