K, so I have a little story to tell. So, last year when driving down the highway going 80 miles an hour, my tire blew and somehow killed the battery in my car. So, I go get a new tire, a new battery, and all of a sudden my radio has reset itself. In order to get my radio to work, I have to enter a code, which is great, b/c that keeps people from being able to steal my radio. However, I don't have the code for the radio, since I bought the car used. So I called up the dealership I bought it from and they informed me that they would have to get the serial # off the radio in order to get the code and that would cost $90. BA HA! Like I have $90 extra dollars just sitting around to spend. So, I decided I would just live without the radio or music in my car.
Well, it finally got to me today, almost a year later, and I called up the national Mitsubishi manufacturers (thank gooodness for the internet where you can find stuff like that in seconds). Anyways, they also told me I had to have the serial # in order to get the code. I was super frustrated and just then Sam Hansen was walking by and I just asked him on a whim if he happened to know how to get radios out of cars. To my utter suprise and delight he said he did. So, we went out to my car and after a few minutes of fidgeting with some things, he popped the panel off, pulled out the radio, and got me the info I needed.
I ran (and anyone who knows me at all knows I DO NOT run) inside, called Mitsubishi and they gave me the code. I then ran (again) out to my car, put in the code, and HALLEUJIAH! I HAD MUSIC! It has been the most awesome thing to be able to have music in my car. I must admit that I am one of those people who totally belts out songs in their car and dances along. So I am thrilled to have music again.
