Loverly Weekend (yes, loverly)

For Christmas gifts to the admin employees, my company gave us all massages. I gave mine to my Mom, but she said it was so good that she bought my dad one, and he somehow got a free sauna/jacuzzi gift certificate out of it. So Jason and I decided to take advantage of it and went to the Mainspring Day Spa.

We got there and changed into our swimming suits. They had bottled water, slippers, a towel and a bathrobe there for us. We went and sat in the sauna to sweat out all the impurities. It was pretty hot in there, but felt so good. Then we went and sat in the jacuzzi. I must admit that the water was cold, so that wasn't too fun not to mention the jets didn't work, but it was nice to just soak and sit in there and talk with Jason. Then we had our massages. They were YUM-O! The lady that did mine was even using her elbow to loosen all my tense muscles. It hurt, but in a good way, and I'm still feeling that massage. What a nice day of pampering. (I had also gone and gotten my nails done earlier that morning).

Grandma Rufio and Carly watched Autumn so we could go do that. THANKS! We got back to Grandma's, and Autumn was asleep in her arms just sitting there. What a good babysitter!

We had to stop at WalMart on Friday night to get formula for Autumn. I saw this stroller there for $10 and got it since it's so hard to lug around our big fancy stroller. What a steal!

We went and sat at Nielsen Grove's Park and enjoyed the nice weather. It's so funny, b/c Autumn puts her head to the side when she's in the new stroller and Jason kept saying, "She's in denial." We layed her on a blankey on the ground and she was just talking and laughing. I think she really enjoys looking at the trees. We call them the, "trees with the sparkling leaves." I have no idea what type of trees they are, but you can see them better in the picture below. If anyone knows what type of trees those are, do enlighten me please.

Now you might be wondering why we took this picture. Is it b/c of the beautiful mountains in the background? No, this is the bench where Jason proposed to me just a little over a year ago.

K, this is probably the worst picture ever. My hair looks like pooh, Jason has a baby blanket around his neck, I'm holding the camera up and taking this pic myself, and what the heck is up with my bottom lip? Oh well. It was meant to be a tender and nostalgic moment and kiss. Yeah for a great and relaxing Saturday.

Sunday wasn't anything too special. We left Rufio's, came home, went to church, took naps, watered the garden, watched TV, cleaned the apartment a little, and went to bed. But it was still a nice weekend of R&R.
