140 Nativities

There were a few articles written in a few newspapers about my mom's nativity (or creche) collection. Each year our ward puts on a nativity exhibit for the community. It really is so well put together, and I'm glad my mom got some recognition.

This whole section in this picture are her nativities! Yes, that's right...she has so many (about 140) that she gets an entire section to herself.

After the exhibit, we went to help pack them all up and bring them back home. It was quite a chore trying to do that with Autumn needing my attention. So these sweet girls helped me with her. She is getting so big and is so close to walking all on her own.

I had no idea that she had so many, and they are from all over the world. Some of the neatest are one I got her in Slovenija on my mission, one from the Philippines, and one made from rocks. But this year, this one is the one that caught my eye, b/c of Autumn being 1/2 Native American. It took at least 5 of us 2 1/2 hours to pack them all up. I am so thankful for this time of year to focus on the birth of the Savior and all that He's done for me.
