Tonight we went through some stuff in the attic and threw away a castle that one of the boys had made for a school project. The top of one of the turrets fit on Autumn's head perfect, so we put it on and said it was her little dunce cap and she needed to go sit in the corner.
But I love my little bug too much to put her in the corner. I was reading this blog the other day and she was saying she made a Mother's Day gift with a picture of her grandma holding her mom as a baby, with another picture of her mom holding her as a baby, and she wanted to put a picture of her holding her own baby in the frame too, but she couldn't find a picture of herself holding her baby. (Sorry if that's really confusing). She was saying how sad she was and how much she regretted that she didn't have more pictures of herself. She didn't want to be in pictures b/c she didn't have on make up or felt too fat or didn't have her hair done, etc. It just really struck me and I realized that I take about a bazillion pictures of Autumn, but don't have very many pictures of the two of us together. So I'm going to try and get more pictures of the two of us together. Especially since she's my little Dunce Cap Diva.

I realized the same thing about my baby the other day. I too made a resolution to change that.

Essa Wee don't get rid of the dunce cap b/c we are coming up for Mother's Day and I want to put the dunce cap on Andrew while he is sitting at the old fashioned desk. LOVE YA & I can't wait to see you and my cute princess!
