Today on the way to work, Talbot and I stopped and got our free Slurpee since it's 7/11. It was just a small 7.11 oz Slurpee, but it was still fun. When Liz got back from lunch, she had something in a big white styrofoam cup and said she had a treat for me. I got all excited, b/c it looks like the cups we get sno cones in. Instead of a scrumptious sno cone, this is what she had...a Vietnamese dessert. She said it was a fruit mixture. She promised it didn't taste bad. So, I took one of those big white things, bit into it, and started to dry heave. It didn't really have a taste at first, but it had the nastiest texture. I was the texture of what I would imagine the gunky build up of a pig's artery to feel like. SO NASTY!!!
Luckily, Steve brought in these homemade cookies that were HEAVEN! They were so soft and light and fluffy and sweet.
I looked over, and Sheila had all these bits of cookie on her desk. I asked her why she wasn't eating them, and she said they had too many chocolate chips...she just liked the cooked dough part. I decided that I would help her out and totally sacrifice of myself to eat them for her!
