I woke up this morning to this lovely little surprise in Autumn's bed. Oh, well...that's part of being a mom.
It was so nice and sunny out, that we got on our swimsuits and went swimming for a while. Autumn loves it when my mom swings her around in the pool. Actually, Autumn just loves being in the pool no matter what.
After that, we got cleaned up and went to get Nick from work. Dad surprised us by taking us to lunch at Napoli's after we got Nick.
Autumn was a little stinker and wanted to get down and run around and play w/ all the utensils and stick her hand in my drink, etc. She is just non-stop motion, so it's kind of hard to take her out anywhere.
This right here is the THE BEST pasta in the world. It's called chicken aristocrat and has the best cream sauce poured over the top of pasta, tender chicken cutlets, and breaded eggplant. I'm not a big fan of eggplant, but this stuff is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I could drink the sauce w/ a straw it's that amazing.
But, I'm trying to be healthy, so I ordered this instead, and just had a bit of my dad's chicken aristocrat. It was just pasta w/ veggies and a weird cold marinara vinegarette dressing. I'll just have to splurge on my calories next time and get the chicken aristocrat.
I know this picture is blurry, but Autumn was SO HAPPY that we let her carry the food out in the bag. It was about as big as she was, but she was so proud of herself.
We got home and just relaxed. Autumn loves having her back rubbed, so after it was her turn, she gave Grandpa a back rub.
Everyone tells me that Autumn will have to be a basketball player when she grows up b/c I'm so tall. I really think she might have a chance as long as she gets Jason's coordination and not mine. She has big hands and can already palm this ball w/ just one hand. I loved this pic, b/c it's like a snapshot of her future...she'll be a basketball player with a b-ball in one hand, and yet be a great mommy and wife with her little doll in her other.
I went shopping at WalMart for 2 hours while Autumn took a nap. It was GLORIOUS to be out on my own and just taking my time and enjoying myself. When I got home, Curt had come over to see Autumn. I had gotten some yogurt for Autumn, b/c she LOVES it and she just plopped right down on Curt and had him feed her. Those 2 are so cute together.
I also bought Autumn a little potty so I can start potty training her. She was very intrigued by it, as you can tell from her staring into the hole.
She also kept taking the white bucket out and playing with it. She'll learn pretty quick not to do that once I teach her how to use it!

I keep forgetting to tell you this when I see you, but I've totally been to your house! Last year, Cade and I went over with Seth and Brittany to go swimming for the 4th. I love that pool! Later that night we went back over and shot off some fireworks. And then another time, Cade got a stye in his eye and Kerry wrote him a prescription that helped a lot. I didn't realize that Seth's Uncle Kerry was your dad! How funny.
