The Picture Perfect Sunday

I just love Sunday mornings when Autumn and I are dressed nicely (for once during the week). She's such a cutie pie. We went to church, and she was really good. She loves going to Nursery. On the way home, we had a "movie moment". It's like on the movies when they show people signing and everything is right with the world and everyone is having a blast (like the scene in My Best Friend's Wedding when everyone in the restaurant starts singing, "Forever, and ever, you'll stay in my heart..."). Anyways, I had a movie moment today on the drive home from church. Nick, Nate, and I were all belting out "Everything" by Michael Buble. Even Autumn was dancing along in her car seat. The weather was perfect outside, we were cruising down the road, and life was just picture perfect.

We got home, changed, ate, had sacred Sunday naps (that's what mom calls Sunday naps), and then when we woke up, we had another picture perfect moment. I went over to the CD player and turned up the tunes. We jammed out to Michael Jackson's "Bad" and "Thriller". Autumn LOVED dancing with Uncle Nate.

But then Uncle Nick came in and took over. I love Nate's expression in this pic.

Autumn: "Hey guys, can't we all just get along and dance together?"

It was just so great to spend time together and do some fun things that I know I'll remember for a long time to come. They weren't anything out of the ordinary or spectacular, but it was just enjoying the little everyday things that mean so much. I saw this quote on someone else's blog and it just states so perfectly how I felt today:

"Time stands still best in moments that
look suspiciously like ordinary life."

I love that quote because it is so true.
I used to try to give Xander candy when he filled his sticker chart(got a sticker everytime he was good), but found out he would rather have dance time with mom or dad as a reward instead!
