Happy 53rd Birthday, Dad!

It's Dad's 53rd birthday tomorrow, but we had his birthday dinner tonight, b/c he has to work tomorrow. Lex, Jon & Andrew came up from Austin for it.

He requested a full on Thanksgiving meal. We had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green been caserole, and homemade rolls! It was scrumptious and Mom went to a lot of work!

"Autumn, protein is good for you, but don't you think 2 whole turkey breasts is a little excessive? You have to share that with everyone else, it's not just for you!"

Nate got home from work and brought Dad this birthday present...a snake that he found while he was out doing pest control. Autumn thought it was cool and even touched it until I freaked out and then she didn't want to touch it anymore after that.

Autumn was so excited by the huge tower of whipped cream that Papa was going to share on top of his favorite dessert...homemade banana cream pie.

Papa & His Grand Babies

After dinner, we were all so stuffed that we decided we needed to work off some of those calories. The kids saw a bunny rabbit and tried chasing it w/ the help of Jon, but it was way too fast for them!

I love these huge pompus grass plants that people have in their yard. I thought this one looked cool with the sepia setting.

After being out in the humidity, it was time for smoothies from Papa.

The kids can't have smoothies without putting on their smoothie hats!

Lexie & Jon found this t-shirt for Andrew at WalMart. It is so perfect for him

The kids wanted to play and were super hyper. They were having a blast running after each other on the bed.

It was a great day, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PAPA!!!
