SOOO Worth It!

IMG_6393 I got off early today b/c Alison did so she won’t have overtime and since I’m her ride I also got off early.  We stopped and got Autumn and then when I got home, I made pumpkin bars again (I’ve made them about 4 times in the last 3 weeks b/c people love them so much) for my visiting teaching partner and person we visit.  Autumn wanted to “help” and kept playing w all the bottles of spices.  It was so fun to visit JM and her and I are going to go to the older singles adult activity on Saturday night.  She has been divorced and so we have a lot in common and she is just funny and outgoing and full of energy.

IMG_6395 I got home from that and put Autumn to bed and then at 10:00 we went over to Mary’s to get her and Christine and go to the theater to see Twilight. We got there and this is what we saw….4 huge long lines of people waiting to get in.  It was 40 degrees w/ a strong wind that made it feel like it was 32 degrees.  We got our tickets and were standing there waiting, but I got the bright idea to go see The Secret Life of Bees (I’ve really been wanting to see that b/c it has Queen Latifah in it) at 10:25.  We bought our tickets to that and missed just the first few minutes of the movie.  But, we had that whole theater to ourselves and from what I got to see of the movie, it was really really good.  We were so dang smart to get and watch a movie in a nice warm theater while we waited to see the movie!

IMG_6396 I kept going and checking the theater we were going to see Twilight in to make sure we could seats together.  There was this scary looking guy in the hall that worked there and had at least 15 facial piercings.  I walked over and asked him if he knew when they were going to start seating for the 12:15 showing.  He said 10 minutes before the movie started.  I went back into the theater to watch the Bee movie and in a little while the scary piercing guy came into the theater and told us they were seating for the movie and to hurry so we got a seat.  I thought that was SO NICE of him to do!

IMG_6397 We got right in and got good seats together.  I have to say that I LOVED the movie!  I didn’t think I would like who they had cast for Edward and Bella but it seriously was SO GOOD!  I really loved how they portrayed what happens to Edward when he’s in the sunlight and sparkles like diamonds.  Even though I’m a definite Jacob fan, I liked Edward better than Jacob in the movie. That’s probably b/c Jacob is so young in this movie and doesn’t really have a big part.  But I can’t wait for the next movie b/c then Jacob will be older and buffer and hotter!  It was worth it to stay up until 3 am to see the movie even though it will take it’s toll on me tomorrow.  It was also really fun to be there with Mom and Mary and Christine.  Christine and I were able to talk about things dealing with divorce and that was nice to share how I was feeling with someone that is going through it also.  These pictures were taken after the movie on the way to the car and it was SO COLD, but it was still an AWESOME NIGHT!
