Happy Birthday, Jewelsy

Today is Jewelsy’s birthday.  I miss these kids so incredibly much!  Jason and I used to have them come over about every other weekend, so I got to know them pretty well and they are such GOOD kids!  Mindi did, and is doing a great job in raising them.

Jewelsy cracked me up and was so much fun to have around, as you can tell from this picture.  It was fun to watch her grow during the one year Jason and I were married.

When Autumn was born, Jewelsy was such a good older sister and always held her so carefully.  I think Autumn & Jewelsy look so much alike, so I have a daily reminder of Jewelsy!

When I decided to move back to Texas, leaving the kids was one of the hardest parts of the whole situation.  I want Autumn to know them and I want them to know her.  Autumn and I were able to go visit them in January of this year.  Jewelsy had grown up so much in just the short 6 months that Autumn and I had been away in Texas, so I can’t imagine how much she has changed since this picture was taken almost a year ago.  I hope that she and the other kids know how much I love and miss them and hopefully Autumn and I can go back to Utah to visit sometime soon!
