N8 Lady

Tonight when I got home from work Mom wanted to take Lexie, Andrew, Autumn and I to the Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant to eat.  The lady there knows us and so she brought us some fortune cookies for the kids to munch on while we waited for the food.  This was on the back of one of the fortunes!  AUTUMN.

The lady at the restaurant said that they call Mom the N8 lady, b/c that’s what she always orders when she comes in.  N8 is the pho noodle bowl.  It’s these white noodles w/ an eggroll and out of this world flavored pork.  SO GOOD!

The kids had fun stuffing the noodles in their mouths.  Andrew looks like he’s throwing them up here, but he really did enjoy them.

Autumn also had fun stuffing the noodles in her mouth.  We tried to keep the mess to a minimum.

Autumn & Andrew have a love/hate relationship.  They either get along great and are best friends or they are fighting and hitting each other.  This was one of those moments where they were playing nice even though it looks like Autumn is trying to cut off his head w/ the toy chainsaw.

Pam & Dave came over tonight to visit.  They brought their 3 chihuahuas w/ them.  One of the dogs is Emma’s brother.   It was good to see them again.  We had some ham & bean soup, played Apples to Apples (I LOVE that game), and just sat and talked.

Dad got home and the kids wanted smoothies, but Dad was tired and it was getting late so they had to settle for popsicles tonight instead.
