Tonight when we got home, Aunt Sandy was here to quilt and spend the weekend. She brought this cute little leather Indian purse for Autumn Bottom. As you can tell, Autumn LOVED it!
Another fun treat was getting a few boxes of Samoa girl scout cookies. I really like the thin mint ones too, but Grasshopper cookies are almost as good as the thin mints, so I’d rather spend my $ on cookies that you can’t find anywhere else. These Samoa cookies are SO DANG GOOD, plus I like the name a lot! :D
After dinner I asked Autumn if she wanted to go put on a pretty dress and you should have seen how excited she got and how her eyes lit up! She literally ran in the other room to go put on a pretty dress. We got all pretty and then went over to the stake center for Melissa’s reception. Autumn LOVES strawberries, and that was a fun treat that they had chocolate covered strawberries at the reception.
We tried to get a picture of Autumn & I, but as you can tell she knows when the camera comes out and didn’t want her picture taken. What a kid!
The decorations were so nice and I LOVED these centerpieces on the tables. There were LED lights that changed colors under this big bowl of flowers. It was so pretty. The best part however, was the wedding cake. I absolutely LOVE wedding cake, and I’ve become a coniesour of wedding cakes. The one at the reception tonight was so moist and tasty and incredibly good. YUM!
Here’s the happy couple. Melissa’s dress was and bouquet were so pretty. They are getting married at the temple tomorrow and I am so happy for them.
Autumn was really good the whole night, and was obsessed w/ the little bowl of purple M&M’s on the table. She stuck her hand in and was carrying them around all night. What a fun and sticky mess. When people would come over to tell her how cute she looked, she would bury her face in my skirt. She kept pulling on it and almost pulled it off a few times! One of those times was when I was walking through the line and gave Melissa a hug. I’m glad I had my skirt tied on tight or else it could have been really embarrassing. Then at the end of the night I was standing there talking to Chantal and Autumn kept trying to hide under my skirt. That’s what this is a picture of. What a cute little bug.
She was so glad to get home and take off her dress and her tights, but I had to get a picture of her in her diaper, tights, and shoes first. I love her little Buddha Baby Tummy! I am so lucky to be her Mom.
When we got home at 8:30, I put Autumn to bed and went and worked out some frustrations w/ Dating and Other relationship Nonsense on the elliptical. I burned up 400 calories, which is only probably 1/2 a piece of wedding cake, and I ate 2 pieces! Oh, well. I can always burn off some more calories tomorrow, b/c that cake was totally worth every single calorie!

Pretty center pieces! I LOVE that last picture of Autumn!!! Ahhh.. she's SO CUTE! Her lil belly.. or big belly should I say? ha ha That's how Bryton's is, I just LOVE IT. I miss you girl..
I too love Somoas! You want to know what's weird, up here in the boonedocks, :D they call Somoas, Caramel Delights. For some reason it is the same cookie, same box, but different name, weird huh? I love that picture of you kissing Autumn even if she is blocking it with her cute little hand. :D
Samoas = true happiness.
I'm sorry you've been dealing with Relationship Nonsense. No fun and I hope things fall into place for you. For what it's worth, I think it's awesome that you've been working out your frustrations through exercise. There are so many other more self-destructive ways to cope that would only make life feel harder.
Autumn is so funny and so beautiful.
