About 4:00 this morning Autumn woke up crying b/c she her diaper wasn’t able to hold everything and she and her bed were soaked. So, I got her cleaned up and put her in bed w/ me. When I was getting ready this morning, she looked so cute just laying there. Her eyelashes are so stinkin’ long! LUCKY! She looks so angelic when she’s asleep.
But, she looks pretty dang cute in this picture, too. I had just given her a bubble bath and she’s had kind of dry skin lately, so I lathered her up w/ lotion. She LOVES lotion and wanted to put some lotion on Mom’s legs and feet.
Hopefully she doesn’t catch on to the fact that she’s doing US a favor by rubbing our legs w/ lotion and keeps thing that we’re doing HER a favor by letting her!
After doing Mom’s legs, she decided it was her turn and propped her foot up on the table and was putting lotion on her own legs. She even bent over to smell them and show us how good it smelled. What a kid!
When Dad got home, we had already put up the lotion b/c she kept wanting to use it and was getting it everywhere. So, he had to settle for a backrub instead.
She is SO LUCKY to have so many adults around her that just love her to pieces. She loves her Papa!
Tonight I rushed home, dropped Autumn off, grabbed a bite to eat and then headed out the door to go visiting teaching. After that, I headed over to the church for a visiting teaching interview! I got to talk to Christine D., and I just love her to death. She is such an amazing women and someone I hope I can be like someday. We had such a good just talking about our lives and what has been going on lately. It’s kind of funny, but we’re going through some of the same things right now, and it’s so cool to talk to someone who understands when I talk about things, b/c they are living it and feel the same way. I am thankful for good people like her in my life!
