Tonight a huge group of us from work got together and went and saw “He’s Just Not That Into You.” It was a cute movie, and I think one that everyone can relate to. Everyone’s been in love, been dumped, been rejected, checked their phone 20 times a day to see if that special person they like has left them a message or text, etc.
After that, we all went to Chili’s for some dinner. Liz was the highlight person of the evening. We got her a sash that said, “Bride To Be.” We also got everyone crowns to celebrate.
Ashley (her man couldn’t make it) :(
After dinner, everyone went home except for Liz, Don, and I. We headed to downtown Dallas to go to a club called S4. It was SO MUCH FUN! Liz wanted to have a last party weekend as a single woman. We went into the restroom and about died when we realized there were NO DOORS! So, I had to stand guard while Liz went to the bathroom.
We went up to the Rose Room and watched a drag show. The makeup, hair, jewelry, and clothes were awesome! It was fun to watch. After a while, we wanted to go dance, so we headed down to the dance floor. Liz and I went right to the middle of the dance floor and were just jumping around and being crazy. It was SO MUCH FUN!
It was a crazy night, but we had such a good time. I am so glad we got to get out and do something different and fun.
The only bad part of the evening was when Don took Liz & I to get my car at the Outlet Mall. I had met up w/ Don there so we could just drive in one car. We pulled up, and my car was gone! The first thought that came to my mind was that it had been stolen. But then I noticed a small little sign by one of the stores that said something about towing! My heart sank. I guess any cars left after midnight get towed! I called the towing place and they said they had just picked it up about 20 minutes ago and I could come pick it up. We went and dropped Liz off and then Don took me to the towing place, which was about 30 minutes out of the way.
We got there, and it was $188!!! I wanted to get mad about it especially since it was an honest mistake and I had no idea I couldn’t leave my car there for a few hours. I can see towing it if I had left it there overnight, but I hadn’t. Oh, well. I guess it’s one of those hard lessons learned that will NEVER happen again. So for those of you living near the Allen Outlet Malls, NEVER EVER leave your car in the parking lot past midnight!
