I Appreciate The Little Things In Life

IMG_8668 On my way to WalMart today, I passed the most GORGEOUS tree in someone’s backyard.  It was so pretty that I did a U-turn and went back to get a picture.  This picture does NOT do the color of the tree justice at all.  It is a flaming bright pink.  It was breathtaking.

IMG_8669 This is one of my favorite treats at Easter time…you buy a bag of Cadbury’s mini eggs (just $2 at Target) and then you put some of them in a bowl and pop it in the microwave for about 15-25 seconds.  The chocolate inside melts and is warm and so ooey gooey good!

IMG_8675 Spring is BY FAR my favorite season of the year.  Just in our little neighborhood there are so many gorgeous flowers already in bloom.  I love it!

IMG_8680 Autumn and I walked over to the neighbor’s house and asked if we could take some pictures in their yard, b/c they have the cutest set up w/ statues of kids and a bike and flowers.  Autumn was trying to copy the statues.

IMG_8685 But, that only lasted for about 3 pictures and then she had had enough as you can tell from the great look on her face.

IMG_8689 After being outside and running around she was stinky, so I gave her a bath.  She did not want to put on jammies yet, but she was all for cuddling up next to Mom and having a few bites of ice cream.

IMG_8690 Mom & I have been craving the Vietnamese spring rolls at Yum Yum To Go, so she called in an order and I went and picked them up.  This picture made me laugh b/c it looks like she’s going to eat all of them.  Now that is a LOT of spring rolls.

IMG_8691 Autumn was enjoying helping herself to the thai pan noodles.  She likes when I feed them to her like a mama bird would feed worms to a baby bird.  She opens her mouth and puts her head back and drop them in.  It’s the simple things in life like spring time flowers, or warm chocolate eggs, or watching Autumn play w/ the bubbles in the bathtub, or Vietnamese spring rolls that just make me happy inside.
