The kids started this busy Saturday spending time playing w/ Dad. I love the look on Autumn’s face in this picture.
When cleaning out some stuff today, I found these big huge lollipops I had bought at the Target Dollar Spot to use for Easter pictures. But, I had forgotten about them and found them today so I gave them to the kids to take a picture with. Andrew’s expression in this picture cracks me up.
Autumn & Andrew have no idea how spoiled rotten they are and how lucky they are to have so many adults that just love them to pieces.
After lollipop pictures, it was time to take pictures of them opening the Kinder eggs we got from Melitta in Germany. We took lots of pictures to print off and mail to her to say thank you.
After that we went outside to stick our feet in the pool. It’s still too cold to go swimming, but it’s refreshing to stick your feet in. Andrew got tired after being out in the sun and laid down on his towel and just took it easy…he must have tripped the life fantastic.
After a little nap it was time to go outside and feed the baby goats. It’s funny b/c Andrew doesn’t really like being around them too much and Autumn loves it. But either way, they both LOVE spending time w/ Dad no matter what it is they are doing.
After feeding the goats, Dad gave them a ride over to the lot on the lawn mower. I took this awesome picture of the gorgeous iris we have growing over there. I love it when it has 2 different colored petals on the same flower. Nature is truly something incredible.
The kids wanted to go and throw sticks into the stream. I love this picture of Dad holding onto their shirts so they don’t fall in just in case they get too excited while throwing in their sticks and get too close to the edge.
I hope that someday Autumn & Andrew realize and appreciate how much they are loved and how lucky they are to have such a great and amazing Grandpa. I know that I am truly grateful for all that Mom & Dad do for Autumn & Andrew (and me for that matter).
After throwing sticks in the stream, it was time to take a lawn mower ride back to the house.
Autumn & I got in the car and headed over to the cell phone store b/c my cell phone finally died. It has been acting up and dropping calls and not going through, and today I went to use it and it wouldn’t even turn on even though it had a full charge. I removed the battery and sim card, but that didn’t help either. I got this awesome LG Shine phone for 0nly $9 (after a $50 mail-in rebate).
For dinner we had Papa Murphy’s take-n-bake pizzas. The pepperoni was good, but the best was the De-Lite Mediterranean Chicken pizza. It was SCRUMPTIOUS! Autumn liked it so much that she was trying to steal Nick’s piece of pizza.
Mom didn’t want me to take her picture, but we had to get a picture of everyone enjoying their pizza. Dad was enjoying his piece.
Lexie & Jon enjoyed their pizza in an unconventional way. But we’ll let them share a kiss like this b/c it’s their 6th anniversary tomorrow.
Autumn & Andrew were being cute tonight and just running around playing together. We all loved being outside and enjoyed the great weather. I thought this was such a sweet picture of the two kids being nice to each other for a minute.
You might wonder what is going on in this picture. Autumn went and got a beach towel and was laying on the ground pretending like she was asleep. Andrew went over and was pretending to adjust her (his dad is a chiropractor). It was so funny to see him imitating what he sees Jon do at work.
