This evening when we got home, Autumn disappeared into her room. She came out wearing her pink cowboy boots, carrying her teddy bear, and wanted me to put her in her princess jammies. This is the look she wanted to sport around when we went out to check the mail. Fashionable, don’t you think?
I was tired of being in the house, so I said the word park and there was no turning back after that. Autumn started running around the house yelling, “Park! Park!” I made her change back into normal clothes, though. No jammies and pink cowboy boots at the park. She had such a good time and ran around non stop. Look at the joy on her face!
She was so proud of herself for being able to climb on the playground and go down the slides. She’s such an independent little girl.
I don’t know about y’all, but this duck looks creepy and scary to me. What’s up w/ the eyes? YIKES!
Just so no one out there thinks that my life is all roses and no thorns, I had to post this picture as proof. It was starting to get dark, so I told Autumn we needed to go. Of course she didn’t want to go, so I had to bribe her to leave by saying we would go see the baby ducks. She was all for leaving to go see the baby ducks. We got into our subdivision and I pulled up next to the pond and got her out so we could see the ducks. She threw a FIT! You might have to click on this picture to see it better, but that is Autumn…lying in the middle of the sidewalk kicking her feet and crying. The lady walking by asked if she was mine and I said, “Yes, and we’re having a rough day.” She just smiled and said she has one of her own like that and just kept on walking. Thank goodness for other mothers who understand!
