Update

Sunday, 7/26/09…Today we got up and spent the morning watching the Disney Channel and just hanging out w/ Michael before he had to leave and drive back home. It was a fun morning. Then we had to miss church this week b/c we went to the airport to pick up Nate. I thought there would be more traffic, so we got there w/ about 30 minutes to spare. Autumn had fallen asleep on the ride over but then woke up and was rearing to go, so we took some silly pictures while we waited for his plane.

Monday, 7/27/09…Today Nate came into work w/ me and then during lunch he & Nick M. & I went to Costco b/c I needed to get a few things. I LOVE Costco food…it’s cheap and super yummy.

After work, we came home and had dinner and then went over to Curt & Mary’s to watch the finale of the Bachelorette. Mary always has yummy food at her house, so I munched on some food while we watched the show. She also had these adorable pictures that she is going to hang up in the kitchen. I thought they were so cute!

Tuesday, 7/28/09…Today nothing super exciting happened. It was just the usual…get up, drop Autumn off at daycare, go to work, pick up Autumn, come home, eat dinner, watch TV, go to bed. Michael & I had a serious conversation that changed our relationship for the better. Sometimes it’s good to have those serious talks that test your relationship but make it stronger. I am thankful that he’s so caring and understanding and forgiving and is so wonderful to me.

Wednesday, 7/28/09…Today I was so so tired after work, and just couldn’t face the thought of having to make dinner, so I stopped and got a pizza. It was only 88 degrees outside, so Autumn & I went to the park. She was SO EXCITED when I turned right (direction of the park) instead of left (direction of home) that she started screaming, “Park! Park! Park!” and started clapping her hands.

She’s such a cute little stinker, but then again I’m biased. For the longest time I thought she looked exactly like Jason, and I didn’t see any of me in her. But, I’m starting to see more and more of myself in Autumn.

She had a blast running around and enjoying the park. She is getting a lot more adventurous and is climbing UP slides and on the different play things they have there.

I loved this candid shot of her getting ready to go down the slide. I am so thankful every single day that she is mine. I got a blessing last night and in the blessing I was told that Heavenly Father is pleased w/ the way I am raising Autumn & that He supports me 100%. I was so grateful to hear that and hope I can always raise her to the best of my ability.
