Yeah, Andrew Is Here!

Autumn stayed at Mom & Dad’s house today b/c daycare was closed and I had to work.  It was good, though, b/c she was able to get some breathing treatments and is doing better than she was last night.  Lexie, Jon & Andrew drove up from Austin for the weekend.  Autumn & Andrew (A&A) enjoyed eating watermelon and playing together.

We went outside to feed Gerdy (short for Gertrude).  Dad & Curt took Gigi and the baby boy goat up to a place in Bonham.  Poor Gerdy has just cried and cried since they left…I feel so bad for her.  We went out and gave her some grain and loved on her.

Then the kids went and played on the fort for a while.  They had fun holding onto the side while jumping up and down.

Then they wanted to go climb on the rock wall in the backyard.  Autumn loves to run around w/ just her diaper on, and since it’s so hot outside I let her.

After a while, it was getting too hot so we went and put our feet in the pool.  Autumn insisted on putting her swimming suit on.  They had fun jumping off the side of the pool over and over.  It’s funny to see how light Andrew is and how dark Autumn is.

We were talking tonight about which fingers we use when snapping.  Lexie & I use our ring fingers and Mom said we are retards, b/c you’re supposed to snap w/ your thumb and middle finger.  We started laughing so hard and wanted to take a picture.  I took this and had my head tipped down and noticed I had the triple chin thing going on.

I told Lexie we needed to take another picture, so we put our chins up so we wouldn’t have triple chins, but we were laughing too hard and this is what we got.  I’m so glad that I have such a fun family that likes to laugh and be together.
