Friday Night Fun

IMG_1464 Tonight after work/school we went over to Mom & Dad’s b/c Jon & Lexie & Andrew had come up to visit for the weekend.  Dad said he had bought a present for $2 at a garage sale for Autumn & Andrew.  It was one of those singing fish things.  The kids went crazy over it and even got into fights about who got to push the button next.  Too bad it only plays 3 songs, b/c us adults got tired of it really fast but the kids could have played w/ it ALL night!

IMG_1470 I had been craving some chocolate fondue, so I brought over the stuff to do it.  It’s super easy and we had mint Oreos, pieces of cut up angel food cake and strawberries.  Mom & Sandy enjoyed it and it was a lot of fun not to mention super tasty.

IMG_1473 Autumn & Andrew wanted to sit up to the counter, but then when they were done, they wanted Lexie to get them down and carry them around.  They’re not little babies anymore, so when you to try to carry both of them at the same time they get too heavy to hold really fast.  We were laughing b/c Lexie could barely stand up while holding both of them.

IMG_1480 Autumn was being a cuddle bug and kept running over to give me hugs and kisses.  (She had just had an Oreo, so that’s why her chin is dirty and her teeth look black.)  I LOVE it when she’s in a cuddly/snuggly mood.

IMG_1482 I kept chasing them around the island in the kitchen and they would go running over to Mom for her to save them.  It’s nice that they are so easily entertained.  We played that little game for at least 25 minutes and they never got tired of it.

IMG_1483 Liz came over to hang out and have a “girls night” b/c Liberty was gone on a camping trip.  We did facials and literally had egg on our face.  You just use an egg yolk (not the white) and a little flour.  You put the mixture on your face and let it harden and then wash it off.  I do have to say, my face was very soft after doing that.

IMG_1487 We ended up watching Wolverine (Nick had bought it on DVD and brought it over).  It was really good.  The kids had fun playing w/ the books (they didn’t want to read them, they wanted to play w/ them).  Notice how Autumn was taking them and opening them and getting them to stand up in a row.  It was a fun Friday evening spent w/ good food and friends and family.

I think that is so cool that Lexi comes up so much. What a great family you have. I love them.
