Snowless Snow Day

Since we were forecasted to get 2-4 inches of snow, we made sure none of our techs had stops, so we didn’t need to go into work today.  However, when I got up this morning there was NO snow at all.  I am glad I didn’t have to go into work, b/c I was SO sick!  I had a fever and just felt achy all over and felt like crap.  Autumn was feeling a little bit better and found a little comfy spot on the fireplace and read us all some books.

Dad went and rented some movies from Red Box again, and we watched Everybody’s Fine, which is the one w/ Robert Deniro as the Dad and goes to visit all his kids b/c they can’t come home for Christmas.  It was a really good movie and I liked it a lot.  Dad also got us some WalMart pizzas, and we cooked those up for lunch.

I spent the majority of the day wrapped up in this blanket, b/c there’s nothing better than a warm and cozy blanket when you’re sick.  Autumn found Uncle Nick’s coat and was wearing it around even though it was drowning her.  Mom left to go to lunch w/ Maggie and Dad had a meeting.  Nick & I watched the Accidental Husband.  It has Uma Thurman and the guy that played Denny on Grey’s Anatomy.  I thought it was going to be a dumb movie, but it actually ended up being really really entertaining.  I might even buy it, b/c it was so good.

Autumn woke up from her nap and was a ball of energy and was jumping from the foot stool to the chair and back again.  I am so glad she is feeling better and just wish I could get better, too.  I made some white bean chicken chili for dinner and it was just ok, but not great.  We enjoyed the rest of the day watching the Olympics and then finally packed up all our crap and came home to get ready for our day tomorrow.
