Bye Bye, Nate

IMG_3443 This morning was our usual Sunday morning, which included watching cartoons.  Dad got ready to make waffles, but then we remembered that it was fast Sunday, so he just made one for Autumn.  Nate left this morning to work at another location we are opening up.  We are sad to have him go, but know he will do great things wherever he is.  Who is Autumn going to say, “No! No! No!” to now?

IMG_2386 We came home and got cleaned up and went to church.  We sat by Liz & Liberty and Liberty passed the sacrament for the first time today and did a great job.  Autumn kept laughing really loud, so I told her if she didn’t use her quiet voice then she would have to go sit w/ the missionaries and that got her to behave!  Isn’t that rotten of me to threaten her w/ that to get her to be good?

We came home from church and had some lunch and then took naps.  I always love to take Sunday naps, but then I can’t fall asleep at night when it’s time, which stinks.  Anyways, we woke up from naps and Dad called to say Mom had a pot roast w/ carrots and potatoes and gravy and that we should come over and help them eat it.  We are so spoiled rotten.  Autumn didn’t eat much meat and potatoes, but she ate her weight in manly mandarin orange jello!  She LOVES that stuff.

We watched Undercover Boss, which was really good.  It was the one where the CEO of 7-11 went undercover.  I loved seeing how he learned to appreciate the in and out day things that his employees would do.  He also realized that it was his employees that made the company great.  It was very touching and I even got teary-eyed a few times.  It was a great and relaxing Sunday.
