Saturday Sealing

IMG_3871 This morning I got up and threw on some church clothes and sped down the freeway to get to the temple in time for the 8:00 session.  Dad & I got to be the witness couple, which is a rare things since usually the witness couple is married, but there were no married people in our session so they asked us to do it.  That’s the first time I got to do that, and it was neat.  After the session, I ran and got some McDonald’s for breakfast and then went back for Liz & Liberty’s sealing.

IMG_3901 It was so touching to see them together in the sealing room, especially since I’ve known them both since they first started dating.  They are such neat people and I am incredibly happy for them.  Bro. Vergil sealed them, and I loved the things he said to them before he sealed them.  You could tell he is just such a sweet and humble man.

IMG_3936IMG_3948After we did all the pictures w/ family and friends, we went around to the front of the temple to get a few pictures.  It was SOO windy, but nice and sunny outside.

IMG_3952This is the bench where Jerry proposed to Liz’s Mom.  So cute!

IMG_3947I am so honored that I was able to be at their sealing and that I get to have these two wonderful people in my life.  They are so good to Autumn & I, and I am thrilled for them!  I got some pictures of the flowers and temple before the session that I wanted to share.

IMG_3869 Does anyone know what type of flowers these are?  I think they are gorgeous and I especially love the red mixed in w/ the yellow.

IMG_3884 The temple grounds are just breathtaking and I loved the white/grey marble against the crisp blue sky.

IMG_3873 There was such a variety of colors and flowers around the temple grounds.  It’s such a place of beauty both inside & outside…just like I hope to be.  It was a wonderful morning.

The Yellow flowers with the red are called Parrot tulips, they are my favorite also.
