Mowing & Medicine

Today after work we went over to Mom & Dad’s to help eat some of the leftover rouladen.  It was just as heavenly today as leftovers as it was yesterday.  When we drove up, Dad was outside mowing the lawn and Autumn wanted to help him…that is until she realized it was hot and windy outside and she kept complaining that the grass was getting in her eyes.  She came inside after about 5 minutes being outside.

We just spent the evening playing and talking and watching TV.  Dad put some medicine (AKA good lotion) on Autumn’s nose from where her scabs were from her falling in the pool.  She was COVERED in it, and I am amazed that it doesn’t bother her and that she leaves it alone and just lets it soak into her skin.  She wanted Dad to put some medicine on her finger so she could put some on his nose! LOL! 

We finally left at 9:00 and came home.  I was going to go over to Karri’s to watch the Bachelorette, but I got a rip roaring headache and Nick wasn’t going to be home until 9:30 and I needed to get Autumn to bed, so I did the responsible (instead of fun) thing and went home and we both went to sleep.
