Sunday Sweetness

This morning we got up and had breakfast and were getting ready for church when Nick woke up and tried loading the dishwasher.  I was in a stinker mood and got on his case for not loading it the way I have showed him how, so I told him to just go watch TV and I would do it the way I want it done.  I felt really bad after I did that, b/c he was just trying to help out and I need to get over being so anal about things that don’t really matter.  Autumn could tell he felt bad, and laid her little head on his chest and told him she loved him.  I apologized and we had a good morning after that.  I adore this picture of Nick & Autumn laughing and being cute together.

Autumn & I went to church and then went over to Mom & Dad’s for dinner.  Mom had this yummy roast w/ a new recipe for gravy cooking in the crock pot.  I made some garlic mashed potatoes and we ate dinner when she & Dad & Nate got home from church.  I found out about a single adult fireside that was going on tonight, so Mom & Dad said they would watch Autumn so I could go.  She went to lay down on their bed and watch Swan Princess and was out w/in one minute of her head hitting the pillow.

I went to the Single Adult fireside, and it was pretty good.  Pres. & Sis. Smith, the mission president & wife of the Dallas Texas mission, spoke and did a good job.  I was asked to lead the music, which was fun.  There were no guys there that I would be interested in dating (darn)!  I’ve been trying to make sure I am putting myself in places where I can meet a good and worthy priesthood holder.  Such as going to the temple once a month, going to church every Sunday, and attending Single Adult activities when I can.  Anyways, as soon as it was over I left to get home to my little Autumn Bottom.  I called Mom to see if Autumn was still asleep or not, and Mom said Autumn had just peed all over in her and Dad’s bed!  I felt so bad…instead of getting blessings for watching Autumn for me they got pee in their bed!

Anyways, we were going to leave to come home, but Drop Dead Diva was on, so we stayed to watch it and then left to go home and watched Army Wives at home and then went to bed.  It was a nice and sweet Sunday.
