Things I Love Today

While I was sitting at work today, I heard a super loud noise outside and thought maybe a semi truck was parked outside.  But, I looked outside and there was a torrential downpour out of nowhere.  You can’t really tell in this picture, but it was just coming down in buckets.  I LOVE rainstorms, and there were even a few huge rumbles of thunder, which makes me super happy, too.

Another thing that made me super happy was I went and got my nails done after work (they were SOOOOO grown out).  Mom & Dad were so wonderful and picked Autumn up from daycare for me.  After I got my nails done, I went to pick Autumn up and Mom had made chicken divan for dinner, so I got a big plate of that and it was so good.  Her new convection ovens are so nice!

After eating and talking w/ Mom for a while, Autumn & I went over to see Lisa Price to buy some cute hair flowers for Autumn.  I was THRILLED that she brought so many, b/c the flowers were only $2 each, so I had to get one in each color!!!  If I had gotten these at a store, they would have easily been $6 each.  So, go check out her website HERE and order some flowers/bows from her.  They are such nice quality and I HIGHLY recommend buying from Lisa (and not just b/c she has the best first name ever).

This might seem like a lame thing to be happy about, but I am happy that I got to come home to a clean sink.  Last night I cleaned out all the old food in the fridge (and there was a lot), and there were a ton of dishes.  So, after putting Autumn to bed I did all the dishes and noticed the sink was so dirty, so I put a little bleach in it, and it worked like a charm.  I love coming home to a clean sink (and kitchen and house for that matter).  My new faucet that Dad installed a while ago is also something that makes me happy, b/c it is so nice and way better than my old one that was so hard to pivot back and forth over the two sides of the sink.  This one is awesome.

When Ashley & Bianca were in town, I splurged a little bit and got this purse at Sam Moons.  It just screamed my name, and I had to have it.  And not only is it super cute and fashionable, but it’s also functional.  My laptop fits perfectly on one side of it and my planner and other things fit perfectly on the other side, and it has a pocket for my cell phone and  pocket for my point and click camera.  LOVE IT!

These are the earrings I got at Sam Moons.  I was really proud of myself, b/c I usually don’t walk out of Sam Moons w/out spending at least $75.  But I kept it way under that this time.  All three pairs of these earrings make me so incredibly happy.
