Marvelous Monday

Today was a marvelous Monday for lots of reasons. I had to get up an hour earlier than usual so I could be at work an hour earlier, but it was still marvelous. We met at our office and took a little field trip to a warehouse where they make walk-in tubs. It was really fascinating to see how it’s done. Then after we were done w/ that, it was 11:00 and we were all hungry so we stopped at a different Greek restaurant than my usual one and had a gyro there. It was good, but I still like Anton’s better.

After work, I went and got my little poopsie and then we went over to Mom & Dad’s to see what fun they were having w/ the Guthrie’s. We got there, and no one was home! So, I put on Little Mermaid for Autumn and did a little blogging and then everyone showed up. The girls had been out shopping most of the day and the boys had gone to see Despicable Me and then everyone met up and went to Texas Road House for dinner. I was sad that I missed out on all the fun, but that melted away when we had “show and tell” of all the fun stuff they bought. It also melted away when I got to eat some of the Texas Road House leftovers they brought home.

After seeing all the fun finds the girls got, Autumn & I went to get frozen yogurt w/ Karri & Stephanie for our visiting teaching for the month. Karri brought her kids, too, which was great for Autumn. She LOVES Kylie and was so happy to see her there.

After frozen yogurt, Autumn & I went over to Karri’s house to watch the Bachelorette w/ Mary. It was the Men Tell All, and I liked the behind the scenes stuff they showed, which was funny. I wished they would have shown more of that. Anyways, Autumn had a blast playing w/ Kylie & Kenzie & Zach. When it was time to go, I found her upstairs watching Sleeping Beauty with them. Zach was making this face b/c my flash is so bright. I am so thankful that Karri’s kids are so sweet and kind and loving to Autumn.

One of the marvelous things about this Monday was that when Mom went to Sam Moon w/ the girls today she brought me back some goodies. One of my favorites was this big huge heart/flower ring. It is SOOOO me!

She also got me these other goodies…some earrings that look like fireworks, some fancy black dangly earrings, and this matching set of necklace and earrings. She knows me and what I like so well.

She also got me these two black shirts. I love the cool neckline on the right hand shirt and the fancy beading work on the left hand shirt. One cool thing I noticed was that the label in the shirt on the left says, “Liz & Me!” What a fun ka-winky-dink.
