Cutting Bangs & New Bedding

Last night after work/school we went over to Mom & Dad’s.  We did our usual…just vegging out on the couch watching TV.  Then Mom & I decided we needed to cut Autumn’s bangs b/c they were getting way too long.  We tried the putting a piece of paper under her bangs to shield her eyes trick again.  And it worked pretty well this time until we took the paper down and Mom noticed that she had cut at an angle instead of as straight line.  WHOOPS!  What do you think…should we have left them like this?  The look on Autumn’s face cracks me up.  It’s like she’s thinking, “You have GOT to be kidding me.  You’re really going to let me walk around in public looking like this?”

But, we were able to fix them b/c I came up w/ a slick way of getting her to look at Mom while she fixed her bangs.  I drew a star, smiley face, and heart on the paper and put it above Mom’s head and told Autumn to tell me which drawing I was pointing at.  It took her mind off Mom cutting her bangs and we were able to get it done.  She was a happy girl when we were done.

We came home and I put my newly washed duvet cover that I got from IKEA on my bed, and I LOVE it.  I really need to quit staying up late watching Will & Grace and then Whose Line Is It Anyway!  I just think both shows are so hilarious and so I have a hard time turning off the TV and just going to bed.  But then at 7:30 in the morning when my alarm goes off I curse myself for staying up so late.  Does anyone else have that problem, or is it just me?
