Papa’s Owie

Tonight after work/school, we went over to Mom & Dad’s as usual.  Mom had made some honey lime enchiladas & squash casserole.  It was incredibly good.  Dad had a little skin on his forehead removed that was cancerous, but nothing to be concerned about.  It bled to the point that they had to cauterize it and do stitches and put this big bandage on it so it wouldn’t start bleeding again.  Autumn wasn’t sure if she wanted to touch it or not and when she would get close Dad would jump & yell as if it hurt him.  She would get scared and pull her hand back.

Mom & Dad went to a baseball game for Dad’s work and Autumn & I went outside and I stuck my feet in the pool while blowing bubbles.  After about 20 minutes of blowing bubbles, I started getting light headed.  Autumn could have kept chasing bubbles all night if I let her.

When I was finally able to get her to come inside, Autumn wanted to watch Dora.  Nick got off work and came over and ate and we watched Survivor and then Modern Family.  It was a hilarious episode and my favorite part was when Cam threw the football and hit the guy on the bike and then goes running to help him and Mitchell yells, “Your hands” b/c Cam is running feminine and then puts them down at his side.  I laughed so hard that I had to rewind it and watch it again.

It was 9:15 by this point so I came home and put Autumn to bed and watched the last 1/2 of Eat, Pray, Love b/c it was on TV.  I like that movie a lot and will probably buy it when it’s on sale in 6 months or so.  I stayed up to watch 1 episode of Whose Line and was literally laughing out loud a few times.
