Do You Wanna Dance?

This morning we woke up and decided to have a lazy and relaxing morning.  I was working on PL and Autumn wanted to dance.  So, I played some music on my computer and we started dancing.  Then all of a sudden Autumn ran into her room and I thought she was going potty.  She came out wearing this dress and church shoes.  She meant business about dancing!  LOL!

After all that dancing, we were both tired and sweaty so we took a little break.  We put on a movie and I worked on PL and she got out her coloring book and crayons.  I love it that she would come sit w/ me at the table and we were both having creative/art time.  She is SO GOOD at coloring and stays in the lines really well.  But, she colors things unconventional colors and it’s so pretty.

By this time, it was about noon so I went and got cleaned up so we could get some things done and not stay in jammies the whole day.  After we both got cleaned up, Mom called to say that she and Pam and Dave and Colton were going to Cheddar’s for lunch and we could come if we wanted.  That was a no brainer, so we jumped in the car and headed over there.  I haven’t had Cheddar’s in a while and I always love their quality and quantity of food.  Although, I’ve heard each Cheddar’s is different and some of them aren’t very good but luckily ours is.  I just don’t want someone to go to Cheddar’s and have a bad experience and think I’m crazy for raving about how great they are.  It was wonderful to see Pam & Dave again and I can’t get over how big Colton is.  They came up b/c it’s Dave’s birthday on Monday and so he was having a birthday dinner/party tonight w/ friends of his that live up in this area.

After lunch we came home to drop off our leftovers off for Nick to eat and so I could get my laptop.  Then we went to McDonald’s b/c I told Autumn if she was good she could have an ice cream cone.  They have a TV in the play area and Backyardigans was on, so her eyes were glued to the TV.  After she finished her cone, she went off to play and I blogged while keeping an eye on her.

After an hour I told her we had to go to the store to get some groceries and pick up the pictures I had printed off for PL.  I don’t know how I do it, but I usually pick the wrong line in the check out line.  I got in line and waited 2 minutes and the line wasn’t moving.  The cashier told the couple in front of me to move to another line b/c it was going to be a line since they had to check on a price for the lady checking out at the time.  UGH.  I felt bad for that older couple b/c they already had all their stuff laid out on the conveyor belt.  So, Autumn & I moved to another line and that one was going slow too.

We came home and put our groceries away and I put my freshly printed off pictures into my PL and finished the last little bit of journaling for 2011.  So nice to have a whole year of life documented and done.  Then we went over to Mom & Dad’s for dinner and I don’t know how Mom does it, but she always makes super good meals out of nothing.  After we ate, we just relaxed and watched football.  I think it’s funny how the dogs just love her.  Emma’s sleeping in front of her and Paco is sleeping on her.  They must sense that she’s the heart of the home.

We came home around 8:30 so I could get Autumn to bed.  Then I blogged while watching TV and finally called it a night.
