Out With The Old, In With The New

First of all, I have to point out Autumn’s funny grape juice moustache.  Not her best look, but she’s still a cutie.  Mom found this sweet doll at a kid’s consignment store for only $4.99!!!  It’s a really nice and really heavy doll.  Autumn was so cute w/ her doll and took good care of her and kept carrying her around and covering her up and making sure she wasn’t “crying.”

Mom also found these adorable heart pj’s for $2.99!  You can’t even buy the fabric for that.  I love good deals.  Plus she looks adorable.  She had on her “slippery socks” which basically means they don’t have the non-slip rubber stuff on the bottom.  So, she asked me to slide her through my legs and slide her across the floor.  It’s one of her favorite things to do.  I did that for a while and then Mom & I watched Season 2 Episode 1 of Downton Abbey online so she can get caught up.

At 8:30, Autumn & I ran to WalMart so I could pick up my PL pictures that I had printed.  We also ran (sometimes literally) around the store and did some super fast grocery shopping.  Autumn saw a scanner and wanted so scan something out of the cart.  She looks like a homeless child b/c she was wearing her new pj’s w/ a pink tutu and her normal clothes.  Oh, well.  She’s a kid and it’s one of those things that really doesn’t matter and it’s not worth arguing over.  It makes her happy and doesn’t hurt anything, so why not?

We rushed home and I put her to bed and hurried and had Nick help me put away the groceries.  Then I rushed over to Christine’s to watch the Bachelor.  I am so disgusted w/ Ben & that he went skinny dipping w/ Courtney and that he didn’t tell the girls he did that.  He kept talking about how he wants to be open w/ them and he wants them to be open w/ him.  Yet, he’s going out and doing just the opposite.  Whoever he picks at the end (if it’s not Courtney) will probably break up w/ him after she sees what he did w/ Courtney.  I thought it was interesting that he said the next day that he regretted what he did.  When they were showing previews for the final episodes, I gasped when I saw the scenery.  I’m hoping that they go to Slovenija since that is where his ancestors were from.  That would make me so happy yet homesick at the same time.

Anyways, Mom said that I HAD TO get rid of my purse b/c it was falling apart (see picture below).  Luckily, I know what I like and had a 2nd purse that was the same (but new) so I switched all my stuff over to the new purse.

I’m hard on purses, shoes, and watches.  That’s why I don’t spend a lot of money on those things.  I didn’t realize that this purse was in such bad shape, so I’m glad Mom insisted that I get rid of it.
