Tonight we went over to Mom & Dad’s for dinner, and then I had to leave for the Young Women’s activity tonight. We had a combined Priest/Laurel activity. The Priests were in charge, and we went to a golf driving range.
It had these really fancy/swanky sitting areas.
Here’s our goofy group of kids. Even the girls that really didn’t want to be there ended up having a good time. I tried hitting a few balls, but I stink at it and I didn’t want to take time away from the kids. I’m glad we did this for an activity and that everyone had a good time.
After it was over, I went to pick up Autumn from Mom & Dad’s. We went to go get in the car to leave and noticed the first fireflies of the season. Autumn & Dad sat down on the edge of the driveway to watch the fireflies. This picture is so bittersweet for me. It’s sweet b/c Autumn & her Papa have such a special bond. Look at how long her hair is!!! It’s bitter b/c she is so big and grown up. I blinked my eyes and all of a sudden she’s not my little baby (and hasn’t been for a long time).
