Today at 11:00 I got a phone call from Mom saying I should come meet her & Dad & Nick & Nate for lunch. We went to Market Street and it was SOOOOOO good, as usual. They were all dressed so nicely b/c they had gone to the temple early in the morning and then they went to the airport to welcome Kelsey home from her mission. I guess there was a huge group from the ward that went and they had a big welcome home banner & signs and balloons. It was fun to sit around and eat and talk and laugh. I didn’t want to go back to work, but needed to get a lot of stuff done. We’ve been busy lately and I have 10 orders on my desk that are stressing me out. I can’t place the orders yet b/c we don’t have room in the warehouse until we finish some other jobs. I don’t like having stuff on my desk to do. I like to place the orders, file away the ppwk, and be done w/ it. Oh, well. I’m learning patience.
After dinner tonight, I had to eat and run b/c I had to be at the church for our Single Adult bi-monthly meeting. We have a lot of events coming up in the fall, so it was good to start the planning phases. I didn’t have to go to a Young Women’s activity tonight b/c they are all up at Girl’s Camp. I wasn’t able to go b/c I couldn’t get the time off of work. When I walked out of the Single Adult meeting, this is what the sunset looked like. I love it!
I stopped by Mom & Dad’s and picked up my little Autumn Bottom and we came home and I gave her a shower b/c she was a Stink Bug Johnson. I decided that I needed to take a picture of our after shower routine. I put her up on the counter and she puts her feet in the sink. Then I brush out her long and beautiful tresses. I used to use Herbal Essences None Of Your Frizzness Smoothing Leave-In Creme on Autumn’s hair to get rid of the tangles. But, we’re all out and they don’t sell it anymore! NOOOOOOOOOOOO! I’ve tried a few other products, but none of them are working so far. If you have any suggestions, please pass them along. Anyways, I’ve had to start brushing out her hair in sections to get rid of the snarlies. It’s hard to tell in this pic, but over her right hand shoulder are the smooth strands and on the left are the ones I hadn’t brushed out yet. I was going to zoom in and just get her in the pic instead of the countertop b/c it’s messy. But, I decided that a messy bathroom countertop is real life and it will be fun to look back in 20 years and see what products we used and how things have changed.
