Today at church, it was a busy one!!! We were there for FIVE hours! During the 3rd hour it was a combined meeting w/ all the adults & Young Men & Young Women. We did a presentation about the new JustServe.org website. I got to present w/ Bro. Pickup & Sis. Jarnagin. My part was to do a live demonstration of the website. I told everyone that this is probably the first and only time they’ll be told to get out their phones in church and go to a website. I had them login right then and there b/c it’s so easy to do. I told them that as my Laurel’s class knows, I can’t do anything w/ out a hand out & treats. For the treat I told them, if they “CHEWS” to register, they can have a piece of gum. I think it went really well.
After our meeting was over, I went and got Autumn & we went out to the pavilion for our Laurel class presidency meeting. It was nice outside, but too windy. I had brought some tortilla chips, chicken salad, and cut up strawberries for Autumn & I to eat since we had to stay another 2 hours. After our class presidency meeting, I had to do another presentation about the website the the next ward. Autumn went and played w/ Liberty & Jacob while I did my meeting. I’m so thankful to Liberty for keeping her entertained so I didn’t have to worry about her. She was such a good girl, and earned a lot more points for being so well behaved during such a long day at church.
We went over to Mom & Dad’s house and made some spaghetti for dinner b/c we were both hungry, and we wanted to have something for Nick to eat when he got home from church. Autumn wanted to watch Mama Mia again, so we put it on and had just as much fun singing and dancing today as we did yesterday. Nick was less than thrilled about watching it, so he went in the other room. Mom & Dad got home from Austin and said our wrestling team won state. They had a great time seeing Lexie & the crew. Autumn & I came home and I got her in bed so we can have a good start to the week tomorrow. These are my favorite brushes for washing dishes and they’re less than $2.00 at WalMart. As you can see, my old one was nasty and worn out so I threw it away. YAY for a new scrub brush…it’s the little things in life that make me happy!
