Last night I went home and went to bed early. It was so good for my body, b/c when I woke up this morning my cold was almost gone and I felt SO much better! After dinner tonight, Autumn wanted to go over to Curt’s house to see the baby goats. They’ve grown a lot since the last time we saw them. We were going to go see the baby puppies, but Jessie came out and started jumping on the trampoline, so that’s what Autumn wanted to do instead. Jessie was showing her how to do toe touches so Autumn can practice for cheerleading in the fall.
Autumn didn’t quite get it, but she had fun trying, which is the most important part. Autumn kept calling it the “jump-oline” instead of the trampoline.
Her favorite thing to do was to do a “spinning” jump. She kept saying, “watch Mom, watch!” She was such a sweaty head by the time we finally left to go home. I gave her a shower and put her to bed.
I did a few loads of laundry, and finally went through the pile of papers that was taking over the kitchen. It had to get worse before it got better, but I was so glad to recycle a huge stack of papers and then file the rest. I love having a clear countertop, but it’s such a struggle to keep it cleared. First world problems, I know.
