New Teeth Tuesday

My heart is just so sad and heavy for the people in Oklahoma whose lives were torn apart by the tornadoes from yesterday.  Then to make matters worse and insult to injury, there were major rain and thunderstorms today in Oklahoma & Texas.  Those people whose homes are gone had no shelter to get away from the rain & lightning.  Think of all the rescue efforts that had to be put on hold due to the thunderstorms.  Think of all the rubble that’s now wet and will get moldy.  We got a lot of rain, but that’s it.

Mom got a bunch of healthy food together for Scouts tonight, but they cancelled it an hour before it was supposed to start b/c of the bad weather.  I felt so bad that she had gone to all that work for nothing, but we appreciated her efforts and that we got to enjoy the healthy food.  I noticed something moving around in the pool and it was 3 ducks!  They’re cute, but they poop all over so we went out there to scare them off.  Mom found this little snake in the pool and thought it was dead, but when she went to fish it out w/ a net, it started moving!  We put it over near the flowerbeds so it could slither away.

This is a completely unflattering photo of Autumn, but I wanted to get a shot of her 2 big front teeth that are FINALLY coming in.  Just a few days ago there was just a tiny white dot (like the top tooth on the left) and then all of a sudden the one on the right has come through so fast.  I’m glad to know that at least she had replacement teeth up in there.
