Autumn Blessings

Tonight Autumn & I went to Chipotle for dinner, and I totally got hit on in line!  He was dark skinned (major bonus), nice, good looking, and … about 4 inches shorter than me!  He asked me if I’d like to go out for drinks sometime and like a dufus I said, “no thanks, I don’t drink.”  But then I quickly said, “but I could get a cherry coke.”  DOH!  It’s obviously been a long time since I’ve been asked out on a date.  LOL!  Anyways, we exchanged numbers.  It’s nice to know I still got it.

After Autumn & I shared our burrito bowl, we went over to Hobby Lobby to get a present for a friend w/ our 40% off coupon.  When we walked in, I saw this “Autumn blessings” and knew I had to get a pic of her in front of it.  She is my greatest blessing.

She spotted these Indian figurines and insisted on stopping to get a picture w/ them.  She said, “Look Mom, it’s MY peeps!”  LOL.  I’m biased b/c she’s mine, but I think she’s so stinkin’ cute.  We got what we needed, stopped at the clinic so we could use the restroom, and then went to her cheer practice.  I left to go get a Christmas gift for her that I found on a Facebook garage sale.  It was a steal of a deal for just $10 & I hope I can contain my excitement and save it for Christmas instead of giving it to her before then.
