Today it was “Spirit Day” at school where some of the local High School cheerleaders & football players came to the elementary school and read books to the kids. Autumn got permission from her teacher to wear her cheer uniform. Of course we had to put her hair in curlers last night so she could have curly hair today.
It was also Spirit Night at Chick Fil A tonight. We’ve never gone before, but Dakins said they were going, so I figured it would be fun to meet them there. Autumn’s teacher is so wonderful. While Autumn was off playing w/ the kids, her teacher told me that Autumn is usually shy in class (WHAT!?!?!) and that she came out of her shell today b/c she was wearing her cheer uniform.
This is one of the other 1st grade teachers w/ a bunch of the 1st grade kids. It was a super fun night & Autumn had a great time running around and playing.
I can tell she had a good time b/c she’s got a sweaty forehead. Mimi had given us these fun stickers to decorate for Halloween. Autumn put them up on the wall all by herself. I think she did a great job. She was so happy that we were finally decorating for Halloween, b/c she’s been asking for a week if we could. Let the holiday seasons begin!
