This is how the pie turned out. It was GONE, b/c everyone wanted a piece and raved about how good it was. I’ll definitely have to make this again for a special occasion. It is super rich and incredibly decadent.
As soon as I got off of work, I went and got my nail fixed b/c it’s so hard to type at work w/ this finger guard on. Binh did such a great job and was super gentle. I teasingly told him he’s the nail whisperer.
Autumn has been asking me for the past few days to put curlers in her hair, but we always get home too late. So, tonight we came home early so she could shower and then I put rollers in her hair. It was such a sweet moment to have her read to me before bed in her cute cupcake jammies & curlers in her hair. She’s so sweet and innocent and my little love bug.
It has finally started to get cold here at night, so I busted out my Slovene copati (slippers) tonight to wear. I’m so glad I still have some of these b/c they remind me of my mission and how everyone wore them inside all the time. Once I wear these ones out, I’ll have to have someone mail me some more.
