Anchors & Blessings

I saw these big wooden anchors at Hobby Lobby & they were on sale for $14.99 each.  I texted my YW presidency to see which color they liked best, and we all liked both of them.  So, I got both of them for us to use in displays to go along w/ the 2015 youth them of “EMBARKING” in the service of God.  We’re going w/ a nautical theme this year, and these anchors will be perfect.

We had some discord at home today between the females in the house.  Nothing major, just some misunderstandings & people being around each other for too long.  Luckily we have the gospel in our lives to “anchor” us and help us remember what’s really important.

Also, I forgot to mention that a few days ago Mom was doing dishes and a glass 9x9 pan fell off the counter for no reason.  She had propped it up to dry, and no one touched it, but it fell to the ground & SHATTERED everywhere.  We are so lucky that no little kids were in the kitchen when it happened.  We all put on shoes and cleaned the kitchen & living room.  There were huge shards of glass that had flown all the way into the living room!  We vacuumed the whole kitchen, dinging room, & family room very thoroughly.  We even found a few small pieces of glass the next day!  We’re blessed that no one got hurt from the flying glass!!!
