Curlers & Sugar Cookies

We got up early this morning b/c we had Stake Conference at 9:00 am. We left the house by 8:10, b/c I wanted a good seat. We sat next to Donna & Abbey so Autumn & Abbey could keep each other entertained. Stake Conference was good and a lot of the messages were about strengthening our families and making sure we’re teaching the Gospel in our homes.

After Stake Conference Autumn & I rushed home, scarfed down some lunch, and went visiting teaching at Donna’s at noon. Then we went & visited Zulema at 1:30. We came home & I had a YW Presidency meeting at 3:00. I just LOVE the women I serve with. They are all so incredible.

After they left, Autumn had taken a shower for the 2nd time today and since her hair was wet she wanted me to put it in curlers. We watched The Little Mermaid on TV while I put the curlers in.

I’ve had a hanerkin’ for soft sugar cookies the past few weeks, so we made sugar cookies after dinner. This picture of Autumn in a Christmas apron w/ curlers in her hair cracks me up. What a kid! We had a nice & relaxing evening at home, which was much needed after a busy work week and a busy Friday & Saturday night.
