Autumn’s daycare sends me an email after I pick her up telling about what she did during the day, and they usually include a picture or two. Today they got to be “word doctors,” hence the medical masks. They had to “cut up” words and create sentences with those new words.
They also played the minute to win it game where you put a cookie on your forehead and try to wiggle it down to your mouth without using your hands. As much as I don’t like having to be a working Mom and not getting to spend a lot of time with her, I’m glad that she’s at a fun & educational daycare like this while we’re away from each other.
After work I picked her up and we grabbed some dinner and went to get my nails done. They are super grown out. I was sad to find out that my usual guy wasn’t there. He’s taking time off to be with his family since his wife is about to have their 2nd child. I have a sneaking suspicion that he sold the business to the new lady that did my nails. I did NOT like how she did my nails. They were way too short and rounded and squatty looking. I hope he’s just gone for a few months and not for good!!!
