General Conference & Oklahoma

Frank & the boys got up this morning & headed to OK. Once they left, I got busy putting together a roast, carrots, potatoes, and gravy for lunch between General Conference sessions. I laughed so hard when I saw this carrot that looked like legs! I could even move them back & forth like legs. LOL!

The boys have been feeling sick, so Frank was going to take them to the Indian clinic just over the border into OK. But, they didn't have a 24 hour clinic there so they had to drive another hour and a half to go to the usual Indian clinic that they used to go to when they lived in OK.

When they were done at the doctor's, they went by to see GrannyMom & Grampsy since they were so close. They spent some time there talking & catching up together.

Frank dropped the boys off at their Mom's house for a surprise visit & got to spend some time w/ Marissa.

He also got to see Julian & Mason for a little bit. YAY! I miss these two.

In the meantime at home, Christy came over and we watched General Conference. She tried doing a braid for the first time on Autumn's hair. It's super loose, but she did a good job for it being her first time.

For the afternoon sessions, the Elders had asked if they could come over & watch conference w/ us. Since Frank & the boys weren't home yet, we had to have a Priesthood holder in the home, so Christian B went & picked them up and came over and watched it w/ us.

We had all the treats for the speakers, nachos, and I even made Killer Pumpkin Bars (with DOUBLE the cream cheese frosting). After General Conference, I had to go to my business class so Christy offered to stay & watch Autumn until Frank & the boys got home. Christy ended up bringing Autumn to me towards the end of class, b/c she had to go home & get some homework done. We got home from class just a few minutes after Frank & the boys got home. They had quite the full day, even though that wasn't the plan at the beginning of the day. I'm so glad everyone is home & safe & sound & healthy tonight.
