Autumn's 5th Grade Performance

I had an OBGYN appointment today & they said I'm still not even dilated to a 1, but that everything looks good. It's always good to hear the baby's heartbeat. We rushed home, got Autumn, and headed over to her school. It was her 5th grade musical performance & they were asked to dress nice. She looked so great! Her hair was still wavy from the curlers we put in on Saturday night (I forgot to get a picture of her super curly hair on Sunday).

I can't believe how grown up she looks! Time needs to slow down! We're so stinkin' PROUD of her!

They sang a few songs & broke off into parts & sang in rounds. Then a few of the kids played the xylophones for a song. She was so happy that she got to be on the back row (right hand side) b/c that's where all the tallest kids are. I'm glad that she embraces her height & is proud of it.

Next up was Autumn's favorite part ... the dancing. She was paired up w/ the boy in the light blue shirt across from her. He was A LOT shorter than her, but it didn't matter. She said he's really nice. Plus, there were boys dancing w/ boys & girls dancing w/ girls b/c they didn't have even numbers.

They did a kind of do-si-do & country/fold type dance. It was fun to watch her and I could tell she embarrassed yet proud at the same time. I'm glad we were there to support her. We were also really glad that it didn't last a super long time. LOL!
